From Greenville SC, Sid graduated from Pendleton High School and Anderson College. 

 Sid originally came to the Haven of Rest August 1998 determined to help men and women with life dominating problems.  He retired in 2017 only to re-join the Haven of Rest November 2019. 

 Sid and wife (Sandy) together have 3 children: a son, 2 daughters, and two granddaughters.
